Game Design
“ Chakraview ” and “ Teen Songtaya ” are the two games developed in a team of two, myself and Girija at IDC, IIT Bombay. Both the games are based on strategy for 8 years and above. The look of the game has been kept very ethnic so are the names in order to give the Indian feel. To achieve the same feel the board has been handcrafted. Other than game it can also act as antique accessory. The rule book is in a form of a scroll. The pegs are very colorful with a stone studded on top. Then there is a bag called “potli” to keep the pegs. For the board the use of red and touch of golden color is there against black background. Later the game board is mounted with wooden battens. The game has gone through a series of user study to take its final form.
Altogether it was an amazing experience to work under the guidance of Prof. Uday Athwanker. We not only learned the process how to make a game but also how to execute the same into a tangible product in a limited time. Finally the game was selected and distributed by Funskool.

Triplets:
Outplay the ordinary. For 8+, it requires developing strategies to visualize line formation of set of your own three pieces, while preventing the opponent to create his formations. Projecting potential moves on to the board (like in chess) is expected to develop spatial intelligence.
Chakra View:
Master the arc of winning. For 10+, it demands developing strategies that protect your pieces while capturing your opponent’s pieces by circling around it. Clever moves allow windfall gains by multiple captures in a single move.
